Pictcon1 and Cymera’s Writers’ Conference
There are two great events happening in November. We have:
Pictcon1 – A one day, science fiction convention in Perth, Scotland. A chance to talk about books, games, films etc, with am emphasis on Scottish writers.
Saturday 8th November, 10am – to 10pm
Salutation Hotel 30-34 South Street, Perth, PH2 8PH
The Guest of Honour is Francesca T Barbini, the Founder of Luna Press Publishing.
There are a range of talks, panels and workshops all day long, with many featuring SF Caledonians, and myself on the Anthologies Panel.
SF Caledonia/Shoreline of Infinity will have a presence with a Dealer Table, so do make sure you say hello.

Cymera’s Writers’ Conference is back for 2025!
Saturday 22nd November, in Edinburgh and online
This is a must attend event for writers of any genre, from unpublished, to sales in the millions, and everyone is as friendly as can be.
The programme and location are remaining secret for the time being, but you can book yourself an Early Bird ticket at the Cymera Festival Website
This day long event is bound to be attended by SF Caledonians, and of course, Shoreline of Infinity/ SF Caledonia will be there in some guise or other.
