Many thanks to the good folks of The Bellman, the Stonehaven News site for picking up on this story. Marka Rifat, the writer and performer of this – the first science fiction story in Doric, we believe – lives in Stonehaven, and came down to Edinburgh for the recording. We had a riot of a time, and I was in awe of Marka’s ability to perform to the camera at the drop of a hat. Literally, at one point, though we edited that out.
