Just want to report a possible intruder moving across front lawn at Mapplethorpe Lane, Arlington. Ten notifications have popped up on my smartphone saying, ‘your doorbell detected a visitor’. But there’s no one there. Anyone else having trouble? 😕

@Slenderman – Guess it could be a glitch, but doubtful. I’m using the Sentinal-18. Remotely connects my smartphone to the home CCTV camera. Pretty fool-proof. Checked the timestamps and each notification occurred between 12am and 3am. Get the feeling someone is fucking with me.

Can’t reinstall? Jesus Christ Mr Padgett, even in the afterlife you continue to fuck us. If you go to settings and hit the red button it should let you do a system reboot. Kind of a lengthy process but it’ll stop you ghost-watching.

The bot was designed by Sentinel, who, as you may know, is run by Ashton Padget. His bots are non-autistic minded, Turing-tested. The key to getting Padget and his creepy bots away from your thread is by creating cognitive dissonance. Play along with the bot’s conversation. Simple logic bombs don’t work. I found that if you empathise with the bots objective and go along with its request then you can socialise your way out of its sales pitch. When Reddit banned them they even reacted petulantly by posting an obscene image. Crazy.
